 Colony Building Guide (Revised)

This is what you do when you need to build a successful colony system:

1.You find a dead-end, earth-like and oceanic, port-present star system.

If canít find one, find a star system that has really good planets (earth-like, oceanic, and artic) and not a lot of warp entrances or has a port very close or in it.

2.Place as many defenses around the warp tunnels and planets as possible.

3.Start on an artic or oceanic colony (if you are a new player, I would recommend oceanic). Rush a refinery, a weapon factory, and a biodome level 2. Place this setting: 1% research, 5% constructing, 14% research, 80% harvesting, 5% tax, and Socialism.

4.After you gained a decent amount of cash or the weapon has over 50 laser and flak cannons, take the cannons and place them around the biodome.

5.Get another biodome kit and place it on a high reproductive planet (earth-like or etc.) and repeat step 4.

6.After your done with these 2 planets, you can fill in the other planets.

7.Never ever tell anybody you home colony base location.

8.Donít just place the defenses around the star system warp tunnel, place defenses on the other side of the warp tunnel.

I forgot something to add. If you are some one who takes risks and wants to make a good colony, put you colony near a starbase. If your not but you want to, find a remote area where very less people go.
